The paintings reflect my design background and are strongly influenced by design both man made and natural, graphics, calligraphy, and architectural elements.
The images are generally sourced from TV, newspaper or digital photographs, and are developed in the computer prior to painting.
The paintings are based on the square, and images are based on a single square or a combination of squares, or broken down into a series of sub-squares.
The paintings utilize texture in the surface quality, and the pixel quality of the paintwork reflects the digital source of the image.
